The Guidebook & Co LLC operates a strict all-sales-final policy on all digital products. Physical products are eligible for damage-in-shipping replacement only, within a limited window. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and accepted this Refund Policy in full.
This Refund Policy is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service and forms part of the binding agreement between you and The Guidebook & Co LLC.
1.1 No Refunds on Digital Products. ALL SALES OF DIGITAL PRODUCTS ARE FINAL. We do not offer refunds, returns, credits, or exchanges on any digital product, including but not limited to eBooks, downloadable PDFs, digital guides, and digital course materials, for any reason, including but not limited to:
1.2 Rationale. Digital products are delivered immediately upon purchase completion and cannot be "returned" in any meaningful sense once delivered. The instantaneous and non-reversible nature of digital delivery is the basis for the all-sales-final policy.
1.3 Technical Issues. If you experience a genuine technical failure in delivery (for example, you did not receive your download link within 24 hours of purchase), please contact [email protected] within 48 hours of your purchase. We will investigate and, if a verified delivery failure occurred, re-deliver the product. Re-delivery of a product you could not access does not constitute a refund.
2.1 Replacement, Not Refund. If your hardcover or other physical product arrives visibly damaged as a result of shipping, you may request a replacement (not a refund) within 7 calendar days of the date of delivery as recorded by the carrier.
2.2 Required Documentation. To receive a replacement, you must:
(a) Contact [email protected] within 7 calendar days of the delivery date;
(b) Provide your order number;
(c) Provide clear photographic evidence of the damage, including the outer packaging and the damaged product; and
(d) Retain the damaged item until we confirm receipt of your replacement request.
2.3 Company Discretion. We will review your request and, in our sole discretion, determine whether the damage qualifies for replacement. The Company's determination is final. Cosmetic imperfections, minor scuffs from normal handling, or damage that does not affect the usability of the book do not qualify.
2.4 One Replacement per Order. Only one replacement is available per damaged item per order.
2.5 Not Eligible. The following do not qualify for replacement or refund:
(a) Physical products damaged after delivery to the carrier;
(b) Physical products that the carrier's tracking shows as delivered but which you claim not to have received, without police report or carrier investigation report;
(c) Physical products ordered with incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer;
(d) Physical products with normal wear or use;
(e) Physical products returned without prior authorization.
Title to and risk of loss for Physical Products transfers to the customer upon delivery of the product to the shipping carrier. The Company is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery to the carrier. For carrier-related losses after handoff, customers are encouraged to file a claim directly with the carrier.
Delivery is estimated at 7 to 10 business days from the date of shipment. These estimates are not guarantees. The Company is not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a purchase that does not qualify for a refund under this policy constitutes a violation of the Terms of Service. The Company reserves the right to dispute all unauthorized chargebacks, suspend or terminate the account associated with the chargeback, and seek recovery of disputed amounts plus any associated fees.
