The Guidebook & Co LLC ("Company") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its Site and products to do the same. This DMCA Policy describes the process for reporting claims of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. Section 512 ("DMCA"), and our counter-notification procedures.
The Company's Designated Agent for receiving DMCA notices is:

All DMCA notices must be sent to the Designated Agent at the contact information above.
If you believe that content on theguidebookco.com infringes your copyright, you may send a written DMCA notification to our Designated Agent. To be valid, your notification must include ALL of the following elements required by 17 U.S.C. Section 512(c)(3):
(a) Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, including the title, author, copyright registration number (if applicable), and, if multiple works are covered, a representative list.
(b) Identification of the infringing material: A description of the material you claim is infringing and that you request be removed or disabled, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate the material on the Site (for example, a specific URL or page description).
(c) Contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
(d) Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
(e) Accuracy statement: A statement that the information in your notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
(f) Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Incomplete DMCA notices will not be processed. A knowing material misrepresentation of infringement may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(f).
Upon receipt of a complete and valid DMCA notice, the Company will:
(a) Promptly review the notice for completeness and apparent validity;
(b) Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material in accordance with the DMCA;
(c) Notify the user who posted or is responsible for the material of the takedown; and
(d) Provide the submitting party with confirmation that the material has been addressed.
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material, you may send a written counter-notification to the Designated Agent. To be valid, your counter-notification must include ALL of the following elements required by 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g)(3):
(a) Your physical or electronic signature;
(b) Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location at which the material appeared before removal or disabling;
(c) A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
(d) Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address; and
(e) A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which your mailing address is located, or, if you are located outside the United States, the jurisdiction of any Federal District Court in which the Company may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the takedown notice or their agent.
Upon receipt of a complete and valid counter-notification, the Company will:
(a) Forward the counter-notification to the original complaining party;
(b) Inform the complaining party that the removed material may be restored within 10 to 14 business days unless the complaining party files a court action and notifies us within that period; and
(c) Restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days after receipt of the counter-notification, provided the complaining party has not filed a court action.
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, the Company has adopted a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. The Company may terminate a user's account upon receipt of a second valid DMCA notice attributable to that user, in its sole discretion.
The Guidebook & Co LLC actively enforces its own intellectual property rights. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of the Company's content may be subject to civil and criminal penalties under applicable copyright law, as well as the liquidated damages provisions set forth in the Terms of Service.
The Company actively monitors for unauthorized distribution of its publications and will pursue all available legal remedies against infringers, including injunctive relief without bond and statutory or liquidated damages.
