Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Site located at theguidebookco.com and all products and services offered by The Guidebook & Co LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service and forms part of the binding agreement between you and the Company. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this AUP have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and access, and may result in civil or criminal liability.


1. Permitted Uses

You may use the Site and our products solely for:

(a) Personal, non-commercial reading and reference in accordance with the limited license granted in the Terms of Service;

(b) Legitimate purchase inquiries, customer support communications, and account management; and

(c) Other uses expressly authorized in writing by the Company.


2. Prohibited Uses

You agree that you will NOT use the Site, your account, or any product or service offered by the Company for any of the following purposes:

2.1 Copyright and IP Violations:

(a) Reproducing, copying, duplicating, distributing, or reselling any Digital Product or any portion thereof without express written authorization;

(b) Creating derivative works based on or derived from any Content;

(c) Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright notice, trademark, watermark, or other proprietary designation;

(d) Circumventing any digital rights management system or access control measure.

2.2 AI and Automated System Misuse:

(a) Using any Content as training data, fine-tuning data, evaluation data, alignment data, or input for any AI, ML, LLM, neural network, or similar automated system;

(b) Using any robot, spider, crawler, scraper, data mining tool, automated script, or similar technology to access the Site or extract Content without express written permission;

(c) Using the Site in any manner that places excessive or unreasonable load on its infrastructure.

2.3 Unauthorized Access and Security Violations:

(a) Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network connected to the Site;

(b) Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Site or any associated system;

(c) Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Site or any third-party system accessed through the Site;

(d) Introducing viruses, trojan horses, worms, ransomware, malware, spyware, or other malicious code;

(e) Conducting or facilitating distributed denial-of-service attacks or any other attack on the Site or related systems.

2.4 Fraud and Deception:

(a) Impersonating any person or entity, including any employee, owner, or agent of the Company;

(b) Providing false information in connection with account registration, purchases, refund requests, or DMCA notices;

(c) Initiating unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes;

(d) Creating multiple accounts to circumvent account restrictions or suspensions.

2.5 Unlawful Activity:

(a) Using the Site in violation of any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation;

(b) Transmitting any content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable;

(c) Facilitating any illegal activity or providing assistance for acts that would constitute a crime.

2.6 Commercial Exploitation:

(a) Reselling, sub-licensing, renting, leasing, or lending any Digital Product or access to the Site;

(b) Using any Content for any commercial purpose, including use in a paid product, service, training program, or consulting engagement, without a separate written license from the Company;

(c) Creating any product or service that competes with the Company using our Content as a basis or reference.

2.7 Harmful or Abusive Conduct:

(a) Posting or transmitting false, misleading, or malicious statements about the Company, its owners, employees, or products on any public platform or review site;

(b) Harassing, threatening, or abusing Company personnel or other users.


3. Consequences of Violation

Any violation of this AUP may result in, at the Company's sole discretion:

(a) Immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice and without refund;

(b) Referral to law enforcement authorities;

(c) Civil legal action seeking injunctive relief, liquidated damages under the Terms of Service, or other remedies at law or in equity;

(d) A permanent ban from the Site and all Company products.

The Company's right to terminate access under this AUP does not require cause, prior notice, or refund of amounts paid.

If you are aware of any violation of this AUP, including unauthorized distribution of our Content or misuse of the Site, please report it to:

5. Modifications
